a cooking breakthrough

I was once told that I would never get married for two obvious and important reasons: 1. I cannot play the piano. 2. I cannot cook.

While I cannot play the piano, and have yet to rectify this, I do believe I may be overcoming deal-breaking fault #2. Today I made the most delicious chicken tikka masala. This also happens to be one of my favourite curries from my mission. And I made it. No sauce from a jar, no help from Mom. Just me, a recipe, and so many delicious spices. I am quite impressed with myself. Maybe I'll get married after all...
